Bell'O TPC2127 Triple Play Universal Flat Panel Audio Video System with Swivel Mount and Optional Wood Finish Inserts or Paintable Inserts (Black)ReviewsAll items arrived in good shape and installation instructions were clear and easy to catch. It took me 1 hour and a half for complete installation, including wires pulled through central mast. It is sturdy, it easily took our 42" LCD TV. Quality painting of metal parts, I've accidentally struck some parts and the paint has resisted The box and packaging left a mess of styrofoam and dirt on the floor. The box was very dirty. The instructions were not very helpful, except for the pictures. The construction quality was not great. One of the bolt holes did not line up to corresponding frame piece. I loosened the nearby bolts and was able to push the pieces together how they were supposed to fit. You get what you pay for, I suppose. This TV stand is an excellent stand for someone needing to place a TV in a smaller area. It fits perfectly where I needed it to. It's made very well, sturdy and easy to put together, took us about 45 minutes to assemble. I use the mounting bracket to hold the TV up over the stand, allowing lots of space for components to fit below the TV. Very happy with my purchase, and have had many compliments on how atractive it is. The installation was fairly easy to follow. I am using it for my 50" Samsung T.V. The ability to rotate the T.V up to certain angle is a great feature. The design of the T.V stand definately saved us the hassel of drilling holes on the wall and running electric lines. Some of our friends actually think the T.V is mounted against the wall. If you setup and place it accordingly, it will give that impression! The shelf glass are tinted. Take due dilligence when you peel off the sticker from the glass. It is extremly hard to find this type of design at your major electric or furniture outlet. That is why I have purchased it from Web. Prior to purchasing the item, I carefully reviewed manufacturer specifications to ensure that it would hold my 50" LG which is a heavier unit. Several days later, after spending a considerable amount of time assembling the unit, it was time to mount the TV however it was clearly not sturdy enough to support the weight, even though TV was 20 lbs lighter than the specification indicated stand was capable of holding. The entire unit leaned forward significantly. As luck would have it, I had already gotten rid of the box and was forced to visit several furniture stores in order to find a box large enough to ship the return back to Amazon. I'm still waiting for the refund, 2 weeks later! Average Rating:![]() |

Premier Mounts PSD-TTS/B Universal Tabletop Stand (Black base)ReviewsVery sturdy construction. Had no problems assembling. The product met all of my expectations, but was a little pricey. Totally confident in the products ability to support the 42" Panasonic plasma television that is mounted on it. Recommended. I bought this stand because, like most of you, I threw away the original stand after It was wall mounted. I said to myself that we would always have it wall mounted and would never need the stand again. Well come to find out, we moved into a new house and my wife wanted this huge entertainment center. So, I had to find a stand. You will not find this stand any cheaper out in town, if you can actually find one in a store it will cost you upwards of 250 to 400 dollars. It was easy to put together, about an hour or more (just trying to be careful with the tv). It is scary once you get the TV on it because it is hard to believe that 4 little set screws are holding the tv on the poles. It has been 2 months and I haven't been woken up by a big bang so I would say it is a great stand :) I personally believe that it is better looking as well. We lost the stand for our 43" Pioneer Pro HD Plasma, so we decided to give this a try. Not only did it arrive in just 1 day, it was perfect for our tv. The assembly was very easy and the instructions were very clear. All parts were clearly marked. The tv is over 80lbs and this stand supports it perfectly and is very stable. We also left the wall mount plate on the back of the tv and it attached to this stand perfectly, shortening the assembly steps. The only complaint is that it is 38lbs, which really adds to the overall weight of a plasma tv (but probably necessary to support it properly!). Would highly recommend this as a replacement stand, or for a large flat screen that did not come with one. Very satisfied with this product and the seller. TV table mount works for my 32" flat screen but it is very large. It is not the type of stand that normally comes with a flat screen TV. It serves my purposes so if you have a flat screen that needs a stand, it works nicely. This item arrived earlier than expected. It was easy to put together as the instructions were quite clear and easy to follow. The only negative comment I have is that if you have a 32" television like I have (Samsung LN32B550) one of the horizontal arms can block the rear input/output terminals. Fortunately I have a hacksaw and was able to trim the offending arm. So if you are thinking of purchasing this be aware of this. Otherwise it is very sturdy and works well. And it looks good too. Digital Video Essentials: HD Basics [Blu-ray]ReviewsBasically tells you that you need to hire some one to set up your HD TV.. To much Tech stuff. Ended up doing it by eye...... The instruction is easy to follow. However, it basically just shows that the default settings of my TV is good. If you are buying this product, you probably have a HD TV, and it must be fairly new. Maybe this product is useful for an old TV. But if you are just like me, who is excited to have a new HD TV and want to fine tune it to make it look the best, you can just save your money. That's my 2 cents. Using this disk for adjusting my new plasma's user controls was so easy. Using test patterns to correctly "dial in" my color, tint, sharpness, etc. rendered a very accurate image. The patterns on this disk stayed on the screen for as long as I needed them to unlike another I have used that "time out" too soon. I also learned a wealth of information from the tutorial section. You too will also understand why competing manufacturers sets look so vastly different while you shop for your new flat panel. No home theater tool box should be without Digital Video Essentials! Good product with lots of info about HD and what it all means. Just a little to technical for me. I am finally experiencing picture quality on my HDTV, that up until now, I had only seen in Best Buy's and Sony retail stores where they calibrate the picture professionally to get you to buy. Buy this if you want to experience the full potential of your HDTV! Average Rating:![]() |

PixelProtector DVD Edition V2ReviewsI purchased this product for one reason only, but wound up using it for so much more. I needed it because my 1-year-old 16:9 plasma TV had two vertical lines that outlined the 4:3 frame that was "burned in" from watching regular non-widescreen content. PixelProtector's "wash" options were reported as being able to remove this burn-in, as long as there was even the slightest chance that it was not permanent. I had tried the TV's built-in burn-protection and burn-removal features, but the lines were still there. I was not optimistic, but for the price, I didn't have much to lose. When I received the NTSC DVD, I read the entire manual (a PDF file on the DVD, accessed via a PC). I was supposed to start with "Wash 2" (a pure white screen) to see how much damage there was to deal with. Then I was to run "Wash 1" (flashing pixels very randomly) for a few hours, multiple times if necessary. When I popped in the DVD and started "Wash 2", it was a 4:3 picture. This was very strange because the packaging specifically said "Widescreen" , and the opening menu was 16:9. I checked "Wash 1" and "Wash 3" and they were both 16:9. I went on to the product's website and filled out a support form. Within a few hours, I had a response to supply my mailing information and a new one would be sent out immediately. It was only a few days later that I received a new copy. Sadly, it exhibited the same problem. After viewing the properties of the video file for "Wash 2", it showed that the DVD was authored incorrectly. I sent another e-mail explaining exactly what the issue was, and the response from the author was incredible. He thanked me for pointing out the problem, and told me that he would have a new batch produced. One week later, he had a new batch and promptly sent me a DVD from that new batch. "Wash 2" was perfectly authored in 16:9. This is the type of customer service that you rarely see anymore. Instead of companies that keep you on hold for a half-hour or more, or never answer your e-mails, this company had the author himself take the interest to work with me to resolve the problem. My e-mails never went more than a few hours before being answered. As for the product itself... simply amazing. With "Wash 2", I saw the lines as clear as day. I ran "Wash 1" for 8 hours, and then checked it again. It was slightly (but noticeably) better. I couldn't believe it - I thought that the damage was permanent, but seeing the slight reduction was proof that this problem could be taken care of. I ran "Wash 1" for 16 hours, gave it an 8-hour rest, and ran it again for 16 hours. Only then did I check "Wash 2" and THE LINES WERE GONE. I will now run "Wash 1" 8 hours weekly, and "Wash 3" for 20 minutes weekly (read the documentation both in the PDF and in the program itself - it contains a wealth of information). Although many people will be using this program to calibrate their systems, as I said before, this was NOT the reason I bought the DVD. HOWEVER... having fixed my burn-in problem, I used the calibration screens to calibrate the brightness, contrast, color, and sharpness. I have done so using both "Avia" and "Video Essentials" since I bought the TV, and they certainly improved the picture quality, but PixelProtector is much better. I guess the other two programs were for CRTs, and although they certainly helped with the plasma TV, PixelProtector was probably written with newer plasma and LCT technology in mind. The bottom line is that I cannot believe that it got rid of the burn-in in the first place, and the TV's picture is, in a word, stunning. Both due to PixelProtector, its author, and its support team. I don't know who is writing the positive reviews of this DVD, but I thought it was a total waste of money. After I wasted the ink to print the 21 page instruction manual it still made no sense. The manual shows you a few test screens and is real vague at explaining what to do with each one, then when you put the DVD in it shows you different test screens that are not in the manual and asks you to select one. So then test screens show up on your TV for around 20 seconds each then it changes to another one and you are supposed to hit pause each time and adjust something on each one. The problem is very few of the test screens are in the manual so you have no idea what to adjust on 3/4 of them. And like I said above, even the ones that are in the manual don't have a good explanation. The instructions for use of this DVD are minimal at best. Supposedly you can go to their website for more detailed instructions, but retail customers must register for their forum to see the instructions. It would have been far more convenient if the instructions were included, either in printed form or on the disk itself. I can't comment on whether the DVD will fix "stuck pixels." You must run it for many hours to achieve that result. Did not see any difference and could not get any help from customer NO service. This DVD comes with no printed instruction manual, and no on-screen help. The disc contains a PDF file of very limited instructions, which I found vague and basically useless. The DVD itself is nothing more than a series of calibration images, most of which aren't even mentioned, much less explained, in the instruction file. My advice: save your money. Hollywood Smiles Plasma Light Teeth Whitening SystemReviewsAlthough receiving this product in a timely manner, It took 3 days of using the product for all but 2 of the lights to stop working. So I did not get to see any results because my product was 'broken' before I could even reach a result revealing stage. While I do give them credit for mailing the product in a timely manner, it arrived broken. I tried to return it, they advised me to contact the manufacturer. I mailed a letter as instructed and still have not heard a thing and still do not have my product. I wanted to use this before a special event, and could not! I order online quite often and this is the only time I have felt so disappointed. Please make sure you read the return policy! They also charge a re-stock fee, which is totally absurd! They even tried to bribe me with a $5.00 credit if I would give them a better rating! I told them that they represent the products they sell, and in this case they failed as a seller. I would order elsewhere. Average Rating:![]() |

HALO 3 Covenant Plasma RifleReviewsLook, this toy is gonna break. Mine did the fist day. There is clearly a screw or something loose on the inside. But, that doesn't mean this toy isn't still all that is awesome. The best part? The usage. This is vintage 80s laser tag with huge Halo weaponry. The pics do not do justice to the size of these things. The gun pictured here is almost the size of an adult arm which makes sense since that is how big they look in the Halo game. Children will most likely not be able to use this toy at all. It is heavy bordering on cumbersome but this only shows that this toy is meant for teenagers to adults. Anyone who has played the Halo games is going to think this is fun and anyone who also ever played laser tag is going to think this is doubly fun. This rifle shoots fast and there is a recoil. The rifle can overheat and flaps will jut out that you have to reset. (The flaps broke on mine so I taped them down which fixed the problem. In fact after I taped them down I realized I might have done this anyway as it speeds up how fast you can reset the gun when it overheats.) This rifle comes with an electronic target you wear to register hits. The last person to run out of "lives" via hits wins. The target works reasonably well but just like 80s laser tag it doesn't always register a hit at long distances or when it is in movement. I was able to register a hit on my brother by bouncing a shot of a mirror. If you looked this item up it means you wanted to buy it. These toys are not perfect but they are a lot of fun and I would highly recommend them. My only caveat is that you should shop around as they are often expensive and you might find a deal elsewhere. I waited and bought them on sale. Simply, this is a very cool looking and cool functioning toy. My son loves it. The fins get to the point where they can be knocked off somewhat easily during play. The first of these, I glued on with Gorilla Super Glue. This caused it to break above the mount joint, so I pulled the still attached broken piece out (lot of work) and glued it back to the fin with same Gorilla Glue. I then re-mounted the repaired fin in its mounting slot with Goop, which holds but remains flexible. I did this to all the fins, which have all become looser through play. Now when a fin gets roughly bumped it will pop out before breaking off, and none of the fins pop out as easily. A minor modification issue but not unsurmountable. Still, all of the other aspects of this toy over-ride the fin inconvenience. It's awesome overall, and you won't be dissapointed. I bought this a while ago for a 12 year old. He loves it and used it for a Master Chief costume on Halloween. Everybody loved it. The normal price is high but on sale it's worth it. It does go through batteries like you would expect if you use it a lot. Definitely a fun toy, and if you do laser tag it's even funner. For me i used it more as a costume prop to go with the whole Master Chief costume bit. It sounds real, even "starting up" sound as you turn it on. It "overheats" like in the game and looks cool when that happens. Again though, like the costume, the cheap material (chinese-made) is it's flaw. I took off the little "wing blades" on the end of it because: they're too easily broken or get stuck on things/people when you're walking. So off they went. Much better without them, even if you're going for authenticity, I'd recommend taking them off. Fun product though. Maybe I'll even use it an a laser tag game, ha. When i first got it, i screamed like a little girl, and i dont do that often. Got it in a BIG box, ran upstairs, and shreded the box open. When i took the gun out of the box, it rattled. I have no clue what it is, but other than the "Mysterious Rattling", this is the perfect gift for that hardcore halo fan. Average Rating:![]() |

Lexibook Plasma Console Deluxe TV GameReviewsPurchased at Christmas on special for $7.99. Instructions are at best minimal, but 7-year old daughter seems to have been able to figure it out without difficulty. Unit is physically a little smaller than I expected, and screen is only 2.5-inches, but it is colorful, it makes all the necessary noises, and it does seem to work (in hand-held mode, anyway, haven't plugged it into a TV yet because the cord is only about 6-feet long and I need it about twice as long before I'll let the kids use it on the TV). The games appear to include knockoffs of Tetris, Bejeweled, and Brickbreaker. Haven't had any problems with unit. Hasn't started eating batteries. This was the perfect entertainer for a 12 hour vacation drive for my 5 yr old daughter. I even enjoyed playing it. Unfortunately it started eating batteries and died even with trying another new set of batteries and then an ac adapter with no revival. I bought this on QVC for $20 so $50 for less than 4 months of play isn't worth it. Average Rating:![]() |

Retraact-It 9500 EZTV Flat Panel Monitor Tiltable Wall Mount for 12-to-23-Inch Monitors, SilverReviewsHave you had problems with Marshall Monitors? We have and we are looking for other Marshall Monitor users that have had similar problems. Please email us or post your comments about the problems you have encountered. We have two V-LCD15 and fourteen V-LCD12 Marshall LCD Monitors. The monitors have been mounted to a monitor wall in a TV Production Truck. All of the Marshall Monitor bezels or plastic cases are rapidly deteriorating and becoming sticky and gooey, so badly so that if you touch a monitor your hand sticks to and leaves a permanent impression on the monitor and a sticky residue is left on your hand. At the same time other monitors in the monitor wall manufactured by Sharp and Panasonic do not have this problem and show no such wear. When I contacted Marshall about this problem, I spoke with Alan Myers, Eastern Regional Sales Manager, Broadcast Division, for Marshall Electronics in mid January 2009, he indicated that he would have his Florida Representative John Wheeler stop by and inspect our monitors. After sixty days, had past and no representative from Marshall had called or visited us, I contacted Alan again and got permission to return a monitor for Marshall to inspect. Two weeks later Alan indicated that Marshall would attempt to fix this monitor, but they would not fix any of the fifteen other monitors we have that have the same problem because Marshall believes we contaminated them with something like cleaning solution. However, no cleaning solution or any other solution was ever applied. Again, no other monitor other than the Marshall monitors are exhibiting this problem. Further, if you inspect the back of our Marshall monitors the monitor backs are just as sticky and gooey as the front, but in our rack mount monitor wall it would have been very difficult to clean or contaminate the backs of these monitors. The reality is no such cleaning or contamination ever happened. I am more than disappointed by the fact that all these Marshall Monitors cases are failing, but I find the slow response and the total lack of support from Alan and Marshall unacceptable and the fact that Marshall will not stand behind their products is unforgivable. I have been in the broadcast production business for over 30 years and this is the first time I have ever had a professional or broadcast video equipment supplier fail to stand behind their product. [...] Great wall mount, very easy to install and packaged with compete set of 4 different size screws for all monitor applications. Average Rating:![]() |

Retraact-It 9800 Universal 3-In-1 LCD Television MountReviewsproduct worked well and looks great. very sturdy and affordable for my 22" flatscreen. easy to assemble allin all i'm pleased This came with the wrong bracket, also very flimsy. Also. Last time I buy heavy stuff online. I mounted a 22" LCD PC monitor using this mount. The company bares no expense in providing installation hardware and an adapter plate. I didn't need the adapter plate and the provided hardware was sufficient to get the mount up on the wall and attached to the stud; and, get the mounting bracket for the monitor attached to the four (4) VESA 100mm threaded inserts on the monitor back. From there it's a simple matter to attach the monitor to the wall mount, adjust the tilt and tighten the hardware. As another reviewer commented, it is overkill for my application but if I move up to a larger monitor I have no doubt that this mount will do the job. I purchased this bracket to mount a 23' LCD computer monitor on the wall. Fortunately, this bracket comes with an adapter that compensates for different angles of the backplates of different monitors. My new Dell monitor has a slanted back, so I needed to use the adapter. As for the bracket itself, it's very heavy duty. To a point where it's overkill for my monitor. As other reviews have stated, when retracted, it still projects from the wall about 8 1/2" (in my case), but it's not a big deal. This is a better bracket and MUCH less expensive as the one's I looked at in Best Buy and Walmart. Highly Recommended. I bought this mount to replace one that I had purchased at Lowe's. Pros: strong, sturdy metal construction; heavy-duty hardware and screws; snap-on plastic cover neatly hides the mounting screws. Installation was a breeze compared to my previous experience with the Lowe's product. This mount has two sections, one is screwed to the wall and the other to the TV. Then you simply hang the TV section into a slot on the wall section, very elegant. Cons: The only fault I could find was the arm doesn't snug up as close to the wall as I'd like. The pictures here are accurate, use them to judge if the mount will suit your application. This mount is priced well below similar ones listed on Amazon, but don't mistake price for quality. I highly recommend this sturdy articulating wall mount, it is a true value for your money. Average Rating:![]() |

Will Jesus Buy Me a Double-Wide?: ('Cause I Need More Room for My Plasma TV)ReviewsBooks bashing the prosperity gospel that is so prevalent these days aren't new, but the approach that Karen Spears Zacharias takes in her new book is. In Will Jesus Buy Me a Double-Wide ('Cause I need more room for my plasma TV), Spears Zacharias takes a long look at the very heart of the prosperity gospel movement: people. In her refreshing Southern tone, Spears Zacharias shows every aspect of this controversial movement, but it is clear from the beginning which side she sympathizes with. In a touch of originality, each chapter looks at a particular person given a name, such as the Beautician, or the Veteran. Some of the people profiled are ardent followers of the prosperity gospel movement, while others are vehemently opposed to it. But the chapters that are most touching are those based on people who are neither for or against prosperity gospel. The people that are just trying to spread the love of Jesus, such as the Marine or the Redhead, stand out. Spears Zacharias doesn't try to use flowery language or complicated theories to explain her premise. She uses people, and it works wonderfully. If you're looking for a book that goes against the grain of the self-help, name it and claim it Christianity that is becoming more and more prevalent, but takes a stand with a touch of grace, grab this book. When I first picked up Karen Zacharias' new book, `Will Jesus Buy Me a Double-Wide (`Cause I Need More Room for my Plasma TV)' I figured I was in for some good, light, Erma Bombeck-styled writing with a twist of Christian humor. But as I started reading it I realized that although Karen has a sharp wit and a talent for writing stories, the tone of this book is more serious than I anticipated. Double-Wide is an exposé on get-rich theology, a frontal attack on the belief system that God's goodness is primarily revealed in our financial well being. In nineteen chapters Karen deconstructs this skewed message, not with outlines and arguments but with rich storytelling. Crisscrossing the country and across peoples' lives, she uses her mini documentaries to build a case against the prosperity gospel. Karen's investigative skills help discover where God's favor may truly lie, and what it may really look like. Some well-known Christians, who have made a name for themselves with this brand of theology, also have the dubious honor of being described within these pages. Other Christians, who refuse to look at issues of poverty as a curse, are given preferential placement in this book's buffet. But it really doesn't matter if you can identify the personality behind each of the chapters' titles (The Evangelist, The Sister, The Mayor, The Marine, etc...), what matters is in which of these stories you can identify your own beliefs. Karen also provides discussion questions that can be useful for personal reflection or group study. Consider this statement in the chapter on The Entrepreneur- "Somewhere along the line we've grown confused. We've started mistaking Christianity for capitalism. If this trend continues, perhaps instead of calling ourselves Christians, maybe we ought to call ourselves Consumptionalists... The idea that God's will must involve following one's dreams (selfish pursuits) contradicts scripture and disrespects the millions of impoverished Christians around the world who labor every day to provide for their families." If you've seen Christians that despite their economic have-nots actually have a rich faith that is impossible to barter for, you'll understand what Karen is writing about. If this is a foreign concept to you, you really would benefit by reading this book. Either way, Will Jesus Buy Me a Double-Wide has important themes that we all could benefit listening to. Author Karen Spears Zacharias believes Christians have been paying good money for a false doctrine: the Cash and Cadillac Gospel. With humor and wit in Will Jesus Buy Me a Double-Wide?, Zacharias unpacks story after story of those who use the name of God as a means to living their own good life, as well as some unlikely folks whose genuine faith has led them to a different understanding of wealth. |

Reparando TV Plasma y LCD/ Repairing Plasma TV and LCD: Fundamentos, Ajustes y Soluciones (Spanish Edition)ReviewsThis one really confounded ole Lonnie here. First of all, the thing is in Spanish. Spanish! The most non-english studying I've ever done is trying to figure out the assembly instructions on that Pinata I bought my twin girls for their 3rd birthday party. (they were both 5 at the time, we skipped a couple to save up and make it extra special for 'em) That little cardboard donkey gave me a fit, let me tell you. By the time I got the candy and cigarettes inside it, it was almost dark and the girls were plumb give out. They didn't give a turkey if they got to play with it or not . . . Me and Crystal had a good time with it after we put the girls to bed, though. (only took one broomstick whack to the nutts) Back to the book. I just don't get it. LCD? Plasma? I only messed around with LCD one time, over at the weldin' college. Wayne brought in a bunch of funny lookin' jiblets of paper with what looked like a rainbow-colored unicorn on 'em and passed 'em out to the boys. Let me tell you, next thing I knowed, I had the air compressor nozzle down the front of my coveralls and was seeing all kinds of shameful stuff. I looked over at Wayne and he had what looked like the head of a young Waylon Jennings and the body of a real young Donna Summer! I woke up the next morning in Wayne's bed with She Works Hard for the Money blasting on his stereo! It didn't help things much when I crawled home after being out all night and Wanda noticed two of Wayne's partials embedded in my back. (I need to get those back to him, I really do) As far as Plasma goes, I don't know why anyone would want a book on that. Really, who wants to sit around and look at pictures of afterbirth.
