Cheetah Mounts AS2B 2 Shelf LCD, LED, Plasma Wall Mount Rack W/ Cable Management System for Cable Box, DVD Player, Stereo Components, Etc.ReviewsPain in the rear to setup, Directv HD DVR doesn't fit on it very well, glass plates are just waiting to get run into at night, wall plate doesn't anchor to studs very well. It does it's job, but it could have been designed a little better. There are two important metrics to look at when considering purchasing any product--the service quality given by the company and the quality of the product. After talking with customer service for Cheetah Mounts a few times, I can't stress enough what a great experience it was. Initially, my Cheetah Mounts Shelf was shipped with some missing parts, which while unfortunate can happen from time to time. I was able to resolve the issue with them easily. They were friendly and quite helpful on the phone. It's nice to see a friendly face behind a company once in a while. So, I would certainly be willing to do business with them again. As for the product, I like it, but it has a couple of design flaws which prevent me from keeping it installed. These flaws may be minor depending on your setup, or may not affect you at all. The biggest design issue is the size of the shelves. Although the shelf size is 13 3/4 " deep x 17 1/2 " wide, because of the way the shelf sits against the curved shelf plate, the actual usable depth is 12 ". This is smaller than most A/V components. A TiVo, for example is 12 1/2 " deep. A typical surround sound receiver is over 13 " deep. So, the only component that I have that will fit comfortably no it is my PS3, which is just over 11 " deep. This is a shame, because it really is a nice looking wall rack. If you only have components that will fit in the 12 " depth available you will undoubtedly enjoy this product. My other minor quibble is with the wall plate which holds everything up. It has a screw hole in each corner, but it would be nice if it had one in the center as well. This is because on a typical drywall installation the wall stud will be directly in the middle of the plate (assuming it is centered on your TV which is usually centered on a stud) and your screws will end up passing to either side of the stud. While there is nothing wrong with a drywall only install it would have made me feel much more comfortable if I could have an additional screw directly into a stud. To sum of my feelings about this product, I like it. It looks nice installed and the build quality is good, it just isn't usable for me. Instructions we're really good ones. They basically give you two steps to put everything together, but it wasn't that hard to figure out. Very sturdy Average Rating:![]() |

Cheetah Mounts AS3B 3 Shelf Wall Mount For LCD, LED, Plasma TV Components Including Cable Box, DVD Player, Stereo , etc.ReviewsThis will be short and simple, VERY NICE PRODUCT. The only issue is the holes on the top and bottom that you feed the cables in for the TV and out to power are a little small, other than that...perfect. I would give this product full-star rating if the central spine tube hiding wires could accomodate larger cords. Pros: 1. Looks nice. 2. Sturdy. 3. Functional. 4. Provides a good solution for those in need of wall mounted components. 5. Best price for this type of product. Cons: 1. Will cause you the most frustration any product will ever cause you in this price range, I promise! 2. The plastic wrapping on the glass has to be pealed off like skin after a sunburn, you will be cursing aloud after the first side of the first pane, by the third piece of glass you will have wished you never bought the product and likely be needing psychological counseling. 3. The threads on the bolts were damaged making it impossible to start the nut. This was the case 3/4 times. If you don't have an expensive re-threading kit like I do, forget it! Good luck, I hope you have a better experience. I just put up this unit and installation was easy (came with instructions unlike other poster's experience). The unit is well made, strong, and has ample room for running cables through the center channel and access holes. The only drawback is the depth of the shelves are somewhat short for components that are deep and/or require additional depth due to larger cable plugs (like HDMI cables). I plan to make some wooden covers (to sit on top of the glass shelves) to provide the extra depth I need. I would recommend that you simply measure the depth of your components first, including the length of your longest cable plug to ensure this unit will work for you. Otherwise, you will have the front feet of your audio/video components dangling off the front edge of the shelves. What a nice concept since I want the toys off the floor this was perfect for my needs ...the glass shelves are heavy with tempered glass & this was easy to put together although I didn`t get a pack list or an instruction list ( think they got in a hurry packing it to get it to me before the 24 th . this unit is exactly the same as the ready set mount product so I got the instructions from my friend who had bought 1 from ready set mount . Anyway it,s a nice unit and very sturdy with enough space for all your wireing to slide through . I have an amp that controls a dvd & vhs player along with 6 heavy guage speaker wires and that all fit so did the antena cable and plugs for the units . a little note here ... you do need 2 people to hang this one on the wall if your placing it under your tv as I did because it,s a little hard to put the two little screws in on top and heavy .
