Videosecu Mounts ML520B Articulating Wall Mount Swing Bracket for Most 22" to 40" Plasma LCD TVs Monitor and Display with 20" Long Extension ArmReviewsGreat wall mount product at a good price. Its easy to install and manipulates the tv quite well. The only issue I had was the poor quality of the mounting screws. The heads of the large screws snapped off while screwing them into my wall studs. Yes, I predrilled a pilot hole before installing them and the heads snapped off like they were made of really cheap metal. A trip to the hardware store for better hardware solved the problem. I think it is a "must". My wife and I have differing visual parameters; we both can maintain proper chair posture while the computer. We mounted ours to the wall and it frees up disk space. I wish I would've bought it years ago. Videosecu was an excellent company with which to do business; it was shipped in a timely fashion with no problem. I would unhesitatingly purchase other products. I wanted to have a cheap TV mount and I got one. It is save to use and works but the TV is not very stable. Pulling in and out needs 2 hands and you have to adjust the level again, same when pushing back. If you don't need to continuously move the TV this mount is great. For moving the TV often I will spend next time more money to get smoother movement. Videosecu (ML524B) TV LCD Wall Mount Swing Articulating Bracket for Most 22" to 40" LCD TV Monitor and Display with 25" Long Extension Arm Easy to install. Perfect for my 32" television. Full motion is great, but will also fit close to the wall so it isn't always protruding out. Average Rating:![]() |

OmniMount PLASMAUCL Articulating Wall Mount for 32" to 50" DisplaysReviewsI bought the UCL to mount my new Samsung LNT4661 46 inch LCD. In my room, the TV is close to the corner, so I need a mount that allows the TV to sit at an angle to the wall. Cantilever was a must. The mount is very solid, moves with ease, and is straightforward to install. The mount comes with a small hardware store in the box. More than 15-20 sets of screws come for any possible TV. The design is also clever. You mount the heavy bracket on the wall without touching the TV. Then you mount a universal adapter plate on the TV (while the TV is face down on the floor - use couch cushions or a bed). Then you lift the TV and temporarily hang in on the wall mount. You can then let go of the TV and screw the adapter to the mount. The only time I needed any help at all was holding the mount against the wall while marking the drill holes on the wall. Everything else was easily done solo. I can't imagine a TV that wouldn't fit the universal mount. Any TV with four holes should work. It slides horizontally to any distance between 15 and 34 inches. It is vertically adjustable using slots in a metal bracket. Both short and long vertical brackets are included. My 46 inch TV uses the long brackets. The mount extends more than 22 inches from the wall. If your TV is 44 inches wide or less (typical for a 46 inch diagonal TV), then it will allow the TV to be perpendicular to the wall. The mount can be installed with the elbow on either the left or right, and the arm can be translated left/right on the wall bracket into many different positions. If is very flexible. The back of the TV is about 6 inches from the wall when pushed back. The front of the TV is 10 inches out. This is not a small distance. If your TV will be parallel the wall when viewing, then this is not the mount for you - get something flush without the cantilever. I don't believe there is any "cable management" in this mount. Of course, Velcro/twist-ties will work fine along the beams. Just make sure you don't crimp any cables when moving the TV around. The TV easily moves at just about any angle and various distances from the wall. However, the up-down tilt feature locks the TV in place. You need to use the included allen wrench to loosen the bracket and adjust the tilt, then lock it down. It's not something that you can change easily or regularly. I mounted the TV center 4 feet high, so it looks good with no tilt whether sitting or standing. I expect changing the tilt would be a 2 person job - unless you remove the TV first. The instructions tell you which screws to use for all 2005 and 2006 TV models. The Omnimount website identifies the screws for newer TV's. There were several discrepancies in documentation - none of which were too difficult to overcome. The website said to use screws "J", but they were too short. The "K" screws worked. The website says 32-50 inch TV's work with this mount, and my specific TV was listed as compatible. However, the box said 42 inch maximum. Nevertheless, it fit my 46 inch TV just fine. The instructions in the box had pictures only and no text. The website had both. You need 14 washers (6 for the wall stud screws, 4 for the mount-to-adapter screws, and 4 for the TV screws). The mount only came with 10. Fortunately, the TV came with 4 screws and washers. The screws were also too short, but the washers came in handy. One last note - an electronic stud finder is an absolute must when installing this mount. The wall mount screws are huge (9/32), so you must hit the middle of the stud. If you miss by half an inch, you could split the stud and have a poor connection. This product is made to fit a range of TV sizes, however, it does not line up with the mounting holes in the back of my TV so I must improvize. Package was missing instructions and list of compatable units. I bought the OmniMount Cantilever UCL arm for a 42" Plasma. I decided to install it myself and found it to be a rather simple to moderate installation. The directions are very simple to understand and showed several views of the process. However, the wall I decided to attach it to had non-standard (more and less than 16 inches apart)studs which can make the process rather cumbersome. They do allow for offset to account for this which was nice. The only time I needed help was lifting the TV. This arm is VERY solid and I have had no unwanted movement. In fact I am very picky about quality and this arm meets all my expectations. Pros: Solid stability, easy of use, quality Cons: No height adjustment, fully retracted - tv is about 6-8 inches from wall. I am so disapointed with this mount. 1st of all the mount doesnt keep the plasma level verticly or horizontaly unless its completly against the wall. When the plasma is pulled out from the wall it tilts "back" and drops about 6in. down to the right. i adjusted it over and over again while it was pulled out and while it was flat against the wall. and it doest matter. While its out,i finaly get it level and i push it in and its tilted all wrong. Finaly the main arm on the mount bent. Prohibiting the TV mount to go againt the wall without me haveing to "Pick" the tv up and push it against the wall. One of the bearings on the arm has warn away under the weight of my tv making it extreamly dificult to move in and away the wall. My tv ways 97lb. and this is rated for 150lbs. The mount itself ways around 40lbs. so when i picked it up it felt sturdy and secure. Unfortiuntly this mount fails to deliver. I would defently spend the extra $$ to get a HIGH quality mount. Cheetah Mounts APTMM2B Tilt Wall Mount for 32"-55" Plasma and LCD TVs and DisplaysReviewsYou can't go wrong with this mount. No problem assembling or mounting on the wall. Best price in the land! Easy to install, good price, does the job. Did not come with a stud finder. Screwing the bolts was tough and it did not come with a wrench or right tools. Tilt is also not very easy to change. I had my 32" TV mounted in under 30 minutes. Very easy to install and seems to be very sturdy. With my 32" TV you can see the brackets when you are off to the side. This was sort of expected because the minimum TV this is used for is 32", a larger TV would not have this problem. it was ok but I didn't like that the 2 long bracket had to be put together I ordered this on Monday, had the shipping expidited, and recieved it on Thursday. (From Phoenix to Dallas) The box contained everything it was supposed to contain and the product was exactly as advertised. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied. Especially since I priced one just like it as Wal-Mart for $119. Average Rating:![]() |

VideoSecu Mounts MF607B Tilt Wall Mount For 32"- 55" Plasma LCD TVs Monitor Flat Panel Screen Display VESA Up to 700x400 1QHReviewsif you want to spend over a $100 for the same mount, buy this one and send me the change!!! this same mount at wallmart, sams, meijers were over $100. easy to install, strong, mounts tv close to wall but allows cables to be pluged into back of tv ,has built in level and it tilts. This mount was more than sufficient for my 40" LED-lit LCD TV (under 40lbs). However, the quality of the construction and included accessories had a few minor flaws: 1) The bend in the horizontal pieces of the wall mount frame is not square (and the steel is thick and sturdy enough that you cannot bend it yourself). This means that it does not sit completely flush with the wall when mounted. When you tighten the screws, it does pull the frame closer to the wall, and I am not at all worried that it is not secure. 2) There are plenty of sizes of screws to choose from to mount the vertical arms to the back of your TV. However, if you need the screws that are ~3/16" in diameter (the smallest size), they supply square washers to keep the screws centered in the U-shaped channel. The problem is, the washers don't fit in the channel! My TV used a larger sized screw, so this wasn't an issue for me. 3) The bubble level was a little bit off, but by the time you have the bracket mounted to the wall, hopefully you've already measured and marked level positions for the holes, so it wouldn't have been very useful even if it was accurate. The instructions are clear and easy to follow (though they did say you needed a 7/16 socket for the main wall mount screws when in fact they were 1/2", but who only has one socket instead of a set?) Despite the minor issues above, I would still recommend this over any of the overpriced wall mounts out there, a simple steel frame and some screws shouldn't cost $100+ I saved a bunch over similar ones I found locally. Works great and arrived quickly. Easy to install. Very sturdy and easy to install with proper instruments. Definitely need a screw driver with the extension for the tightening of the tilted part of the screen. Holds 52" nicely and beats all store models by price and quality. Why should these items ever sell for $150 dollars. This one is sturdy; the parts fit all sorts of TVs; the instructions make sense. It's perfect. Average Rating:![]() |
